NATURE SPEAKS

Herewith my first album NATURE SPEAKS accomplished under the amazing guidance of Corinne Gibbons, the creator of the music and producer of all the songs. All the lyrics are mine.

All the songs are reflecting and have come together after I experienced in 2015 a severe shock to my system. A burnout, a break through or from life as I knew it, an energy explosion which left my nervous system in shambles. In these songs I am exploring what is important to me in life.
I had gone too far. Life was showing me I had to slow down and look deeper! It opened my eyes to many different states of being. It was a very difficult time as it made me feel very anxious and restless. I was longing to feel quietness again. To be able to listen to myself without doing much and to be able to listen deeply to others. But there was no magic button to solve it overnight. I told myself over and over again to trust and take good care of myself.
I realised that I would be more honest to myself when vulnerable, Being more gentle and forgiving. Being inspired by the use of my voice, the purity of the trees, the sea, the sun, the stars and the creation of art, and the love of family and many friends. The new structure of my days became a complete exploration of the creative arts, guided and encouraged by several instrumental people. And so these last 6 years have become a roller coaster of creations in songs, poets, paintings, and women’s circles.

Thank you, Corinne Gibbons, from the bottom of my heart, for spotting me in the most vulnerable of moments, David Rogers to inspire me to look through the lens of a camera and to capture photos of the most stunning environment and creating all these beautiful clips for the songs. Thank you Neil Sutherland and Ricky Bloomfield to record the songs, Mo Pleasure and Kara Grainger to create the most beautiful music. It is such a beautiful journey.
